After Mumbai and Delhi now it is Ahmedabad's term to appear in Best Seller Chetan Bhagat's novel. Chetan Bhagat who is undoubtedly one of most selling novelist of India is all set for his third one, which is based on the story of three friends and their struggle to set up their own business in Ahmedabad.
Chetan's first novel "Five point someone' was based on IIT – Delhi and his second 'One night at call center" was based on Call center employee of Gurgav (Delhi).
Now his third, which he named "Three mistakes of my life" is according to him, is an ode to the entrepreneurial spirit of the city.
Bhagat spent a few good years in Ahmedabad when he was studying at IIM-A. But he clarifies that his next novel would not be based on IIM or his campus life. Infact he has covered this issue in his first novel.
Bhagat's earlier books have been on various best seller lists for a long a time. Now bollywood film makers are also showing their interest to produce films based on his novels. Atul Agnihotri is making a film named "Hello' which is based on his novel 'One night at call center" and famous director Raju Hirani is all set to direct a film which will be based on his first "Five point someone".
Bhagat's third novel will be released by June and to be published by Rupa. And yes, it will be launched in Ahmedabad.
