The February 25 issue of New York magazine came with a cover photograph of Lindsay Lohan posing nude and hiding her body parts with thin chiffon cloth. The same shot was done by Marilyn Monroe years back, and this campaign is part of the photo series done by the magazine and Lindsay to pay tribute to Marilyn Monroe, all time super star of Hollywood.

The images of Lindsay causing a ruckus in the blogosphere, and it is all because her nipples can ogled through the thin triangle of pink chiffon she clasps with her mouth like a schnauzer. The photo and eight more inside the magazine mimic, frame for frame, a handful of the fabled and ubiquitous pictures known as the The Last Sitting that the photographer Bert Stern took of Marilyn Monroe in 1962, just six week before she died of an overdose.

The editors of the magazine believed that Lohan was the perfect actress for this project. The images of Lohan published in the magazine are creating havoc among the readers. These images are indeed sensual and at the same time gives gooze bumps.
