Ok, here is movie made for the front seaters. They sit and blow whistles, enjoy songs and all that make them happy go lucky.Yashraj Films' Tashan is a mixture of some old flicks of the same banner. Take some part from Bunty Aur Babli, Some Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, and some Hollywood flicks, and volia, Tashan is ready to rock! To talk about the story here’s the Bhaiyyaji (Anil Kapoor), a UP top-don who’s built himself an empire in Bombay. While ‘comeback’ is a terribly abused compliment for actors, there is nothing to doubt Kapoor’s crackling reappearance on the mainstream scene in the past year. Unfortunately (or inevitably, as it were), his parody here overstays its welcome (as do of others). He fancies the English language, and hires an Anglicised call-centre accent trainer (Khan) to teach him. His Woman-Friday (Kareena Kapoor) falls for our call-centre chappie Jeetendra, aka Jimmy Cliff. She in turn also scoots off with her boss, Bhaiyyaji’s money. Why she does this isn’t quite clear, and thereby much of the movie as well. Many questions may make you uncomfortable throught out the three hour long journey which may become unbearable to you, same as me.
