ImageShahrukh Khan is not only a fabulous and super successful actor but also a perfect biz mind. His franchise Kolkata Knight Riders has tied up with several Internet sites to make its web portal feature rich. To add interactivity to its site, www.Kolkataknightriders.com, the franchise has launched a contest section powered by Contests2win.com (C2W), a user generated contesting website. The contest section allows users to test their knowledge about the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Currently, the section features eight quiz contests and there are plans to add five more contests in the near future. Users can play and collect points over a period of time. They are also allowed to comment on the contests. The highest scorers will be awarded.

Kolkata Knight Riders has also tied up with Zapak.com, an online gaming portal of Reliance Entertainment. Zapak has created a dedicated cricket zone on KolkataKnightRiders.com and launched five games specially developed for the team’s fans. More games will be added later. Cricketnext.com, a cricket portal from Web18, is offering news content on KolkataKnightRiders.com.

And Mobshare, a mobile content sharing website from MobMe, a Kerala based mobile media company, has developed an application to share IPL photographs of KKR.
