He dreamt for this moment for years, he practiced this for long five years and now we are wittnessing real life "Ironman" who is flying like a bird! Yves Rossy is the real life Ironman. He flies with jet-powered wings, reaching speeds of 300 kmph. Swiss pilot Yves Rossy strapped on a jet-powered wing and leaped from a plane on Wednesday for the first public demonstration of the homemade device, turning figure eights and soaring high above the Alps. The stunt will test his flying machine to the limit. Rossy said he plans to practice the 35-km trip by flying between two hot-air balloons. His next mission? To fly pass the English Channel and he also hopes to fly through the Grand Canyon. To do this, he will have to fit his wings with bigger, more powerful jets to allow for greater maneuverability.
