Now Robots will sketch faces of criminals

Very soon we shall see Robots draw accurate facial features of suspects based on information given by the victims. Allahabad software experts are working on a technology that would enable automatons to draw accurate facial features. The technology equips robots with “capabilities of social interaction that let them behave intelligently and coherently with humans. This would let robots receive feedback from the victim of a crime, synthesizes and analyze it, and learn to evolve a design and draw the face of the criminal or terrorist. The proposed technology would help solve this and could find application in all investigative departments,” said M D Tewari, director of Indian Institute of Information Technology – Allahabad (IIIT-A).
