Do you think that you are addicted to Sex? Find out yourself. A person is defined as a sex addict when his behavior gets out of control and starts to have a negative impact on his life.
Sexual addiction not only harms a person physically and emotionally, it takes up a great deal of energy. But there are ways to get rid of Sex Addictions.
- If you are flirting with couples of Girlfriends at the same time, it is an alarming situation. It may lead to the Sex addiction. Cheating your partner would not do any better to you. Leading a double life for sexual gain can be a sign you’re a sex addict. When you know that what you are doing is wrong but you can’t seem to help yourself, you have a problem. Better get rid of this situation as early as possible. Better you stop flirting at all.
- Are you watching porn and watching porn films only? Beware! When you constantly and consistently only seek out media that is sex-related, this might be a sign you’re a sex addict. It is understandable that a average guy can also tend to view porn films or read sex articles occasionally, that's perfectly fine. But if any guy, used to see only porn movies and read only sex articles then it is something wrong with him. It will lead him to an addiction which will eventually harm his emotional state of mind. So if your interest towards porn material is growing day by day, try to stop it. Pay more attention to some other equally enjoyable things. Go play video games or go out hanging.
- Keeping your girl in dark is also a sign of sex addiction. Do you tell your girlfriend or wife about your last night visit to Pub or Dance bar? If not, then this signs you’re a sex addict and you are compromising your relationship. You may cheat, be deceptive or be untrue to yourself and your partner in a variety of ways. But it will lead you to a situation where you would find yourself all alone. Better avoid this from the beginning.
- Do you feel sudden change in your behavior? Feeling suicidal, guilty, remorseful or shameful can devastate your sense of self and lead to denial. Sex addiction is like other addictions; but it should be cured with care. Sex addiction sounds like it could be fun, but it isn't. Sex addicts are in a cycle of destructive behavior that won’t stop without help. But first you have to help yourself.
