The new features include:

  1. New Bookmarking system. User now can bookmark their favorite WebPages by topic. They may also tag the pages and quickly browse those pages again with the help of key words.
  2. New Places facility. With this facility user can quickly browse through the recently visited pages with the help of tagging.
  3. New Star button, to quickly bookmark any page
  4. Downloading now resumes from the point it stopped or interrupted.
  5. New Mailto feature which open Yahoo Mail instead to system's default mail client software.
  6. Firefox will also block rather than simply warn about sites known to engage in phishing scams.
