At least, White American thinks so. According to a survey conducted by Washington Post and ABC News majority of white American think that choosing Barak Obama as a president would be a “Risky” business.
The survey has shown that over half of whites called 46 year old Obama a “risky” choice for the top post, while two thirds said McCain is a “safe” pick.
This is a factor that the Obama campaign needs to bear in mind. Race wise, in the match up against Obama and McCain, 39% of the whites would vote for the Illinois senator Baraka Obama, while 51% would vote for “McCain”. But 60% Blacks said they would vote for “Barak”.
The race is still on and it would only heat up by the time.
