They are Kapil's Devils. The deadly combination of cricketers who proved everyone wrong. They were written off by sports critics. Many believed that India should not take part in World Cup Cricket, as they don't know how to play one day cricket.
But after 23rd June 1983 every one ran to eat their words, because India had won the Cricket World Cup. More importantly they won the Pride.
Kapil's team had 8 all rounder. Think of today's team. You would not find these many all rounder in any team, not even in present Indian team.
They were highly motivated cricketers. They destined to change the cricketing world. And they did the same when they defeated the Un Breakable West Indians at the Lords.
Today they are meeting at the Lords again. They would remember the glorious moments, when they stand on the same pavilion after 25 years.
