Apple, earlier, confirmed that India would get the iPhone 3G through Airtel and Vodafone.

The crazy rush is about to start. The two leading mobile phone operators of India Bharti Airtel and Vodafone have started the pre-registration process of Apple iPhone.

These two operators have license to sell iPhone in India.

Apple, earlier, confirmed that India would get the iPhone 3G through Airtel and Vodafone.

But none of these operators are providing the date of formal launch. It is debated that many features of Apple iPhone 3G may not work in India. iPhone will be compatible only with the 2G networks.
