Spain stunned Germany by winning Euro 2008. World's one of the greatest striker Fernando Torres scored the maiden goal to let Spain win the Euro cup defeating Germany 1-0.
Torres scored in the 33rd minute to down the three-time European champions and earned his nation's first major title in 44 years.
When European Championship started no body was confident about Spain's march towards victory. But Spain showed the true team spirit to clinch the cup.
Spain had more chances but the goal was enough to give the country its first title since the 1964 European Championship.
Germany has to wait for 4 years to fight back. Next Euro cup is scheduled to be held at Poland and Ukraine in 2012.
