It was the day of bringing back the glory to the Greece. 6 April, 1896. King George 1 declared the Games open in the Panathenaic Stadium which received at all over the world.

The International Olympic Committee decided to host first Olympic Games at Athens in Greece since Greece had been the host of the ancient Games. However, politicians in Greece did everything to stop the procedures, but ultimately Greek prince Constantine took the initiative and orgainsed the Games.

Athens hosted the Olympic Games again on 2004. While the 1896 Games triggered a global Olympics movement, the 2004 Games would be remembered for its use of technology.
