The New Yorker magazine cover page depicting Democratic presidential nominee Barack obama as a traditionally dressed Muslim and his wife Michelle as a terrorist has stirred a controversy in Washington.
The latest issue of New Yorker magazine also shows photo of Osama Bin Laden hangs on the wall and an American flag can also be seen burning in the fire place.
The editor of the magazine David Remnick said,”I didn't run a cover just to get attention. I ran the cover because I thought it had something to say. What I think is it does is hold up a mirror to the prejudice and dark imaginings about Barack Obama's – both Obamas'.
However, the spokesmen of both Barack Obama and Republican candidate John Mccain have critisised the magazine to print such cartoon.
