Have you seen To be or Not to Be. If you have then I would recommend that you don’t need to watch Man Gaye…, and if you haven’t then I would suggest you to watch that film only.
Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam is an unsuccessful copy of 1983 Hollywood flick To Be or Not To Be.
Story:
Mazumdar (Paresh Rawal) is an owner of a theatre group. He has a lovely wife Shabnam (Mallika Sherawat) and a bunch of other actors of whom one resembles a don.
Arjun Rastogi (Rahul Bose) enters the groups. He pretends to watch the show but he is a senior intelligence officer who is in the area scouting for underworld connections.
Then there is a local goon (Pavan Malhotra) who wants to attack the neibourhood and there is a ghazal singer a ghazal singer Haldi Hassan (Kay Kay Menon) who is assigned to plant bombs and there is a series of misunderstands, and at last a boring ending.
Pick Points:
If you want to watch the movie you may do so for Paresh Rawal. He is simply amazing. In this film he proves that how versatile actor he is!
Weak Points:
There are end numbers of reason. The film simply doesn’t work. Mallika’s overacting and Rahul Bose’s act without soul makes the thing even more difficult to absorb. Screenplay lacks coherence and the editing seems non-existent.
Finally:
There is no reason, why you should purchase a ticket as costly as Rs. 200 to watch a movie like this.
