Salman Khan has decided not to smoke but only only when he is dressed as a Sikh.
Well, Salman, who is playing a Sikh in Samir Karnik’s Heroes has decided, that out of respect for the religion, he will refrain from smoking while dressed in the Sikh attire.
Vikas Kapoor, producer of the film was quoted saying, “Salmanbhai respects all religion and follows them religiously. He was aware that Sikhs generally don’t smoke as their religion does not permit them to, and hence, out of respect for the religion, he too did not smoke. He is a chain smoker, but his respect for the turban he wore kept him from smoking, all through the film. He often spent ten hours in his costume, and never touched a cigarette!”
