Ok what would be your choice for the role of Chamki? Priyanka Chopra or Kareena Kapoor? But what is this all about? Well Shyam Benegal has decided to revive his project Chamki which was put on hold because it has changed hands from Sanjay Gupta to Reliance Big Entertainment.

Initially Kareena was very charged about the role. And considering what Shyam Babu had done with her sister Karisma in Zubeida, she was all the more keen.

However she opted out, (as she often does from offbeat challenges like Deepa Mehta’s Water and Rituparno Ghosh’s Raincoat) stating that it was too early for her to attempt something so unconventional.

well,kareena kapoor is the perfect choice for the role of chamki becoz she has years of experience wid roles like dev,chameli,yuva,omkara,refugee to name a few..n most importantly everyone is dying 2 see kareena in a shyam benegal film since years..if kareena kapoor agrees to do the film it wud be treat for her fans n also kareena gets chance 2 prove her mettle once again after jab we met..

already kareena lost out many films to other actresses..some of her films which she was supposed to do are.-
page3 which went 2 konkonasen sharma
kal ho na ho which went 2 priety zinta
fashion which went 2 priyanka chopra
raincoat which went 2 aishwarya rai
corporate which went 2 bipasha basu

it wud be very foolish on kareena's part if she rejects this film.
