People says he is a wonderboy. His name is oliver Stocker and he is just 11 weeks old. He has already survived four major heart attacks. Bryan and Anna Stocker gazed at each other in despair as doctors fought to save their son who had just suffered his fourth heart attack.

The problems which started at his birth, on January 16, at Queen Charlotte's Hospital, London, where doctors found he had an irregular heartbeat. The doctors said his heart problem would eventually go away, but unfortunately it did not happen.

 

Three times doctors tried to shock Oliver's heart back to a normal rhythm, without success. So the baby was sent to Great Ormond Street Hospital to go on a ECMO machine, which pumps blood around the body. After months of painful treatment, last May, Oliver was finally allowed to return home, and now, at 14 months old, he's just like any healthy boy of his age.
